General:

• RPM Stroboscope is a straightforward stroboscope application designed to assist in determining the speed of rotating objects or the frequency of vibrating objects.

Function:

• The app features two distinct modes, each indicated by the label above the text field. In the RPM mode, the displayed value represents revolutions per second, accompanied by corresponding light flashes. When directed towards a spinning shaft, the stationary appearance indicates matching speeds with the indicated value.
• Conversely, in Hertz mode, the label switches to Hz, converting the text field value accordingly for synchronized light flashes.
• Transitioning between modes is easily accomplished by tapping on the label. To validate shaft speed or vibration frequency in either mode, users can input desired values by simply tapping on the text field.
• If speed or frequency is unknown, incremental adjustments are facilitated through plus and minus buttons flanking the text field. Long-pressing these buttons increases values by 10 in RPM mode and by 2 in Hz mode.
• A double-tap in an open area transforms the buttons into multiply and divide buttons, enabling multiplication by 2 and division by 2. Long-press functionality continues to increase values by 2.

External Flash:

• Additional functionality can be achieved by connecting a Nova external flash via Bluetooth.
